About the Campus

Our Mission

We are creating an educational environment that facilitates the transfer of knowledge, meanings, and values from one generation of employees to the next. This allows us to ensure sustainable business growth at NLMK, supporting continuity and company development.

The NLMK University was established in 2016 to centralize and implement a unified system for managerial and professional training throughout the NLMK Group.

Our Objectives

To develop and educate NLMK employees who are interested in building relationships, achieving ambitious results, and committed to the company's activities

To improve NLMK’s management system by training to a set of unified work standards

To systematize and disseminate best practices — ultimately leading to the creation of a self-motivated learning organization

EFMD European Foundation for Management Development

An established international association to accredit business schools, corporate universities, learning programmes, and e-learning courses.

ECLF Executive Corporate Learning Forum

A community of top executives from major global corporations who have a strategic responsibility to build organizational capabilities and drive large-scale learning, change and transformation processes.

ETCO

Education and Training Committee, a part of World Steel Association. The Corporate University regularly participates in ETCO meetings, as well as arranges participation of NLMK employees in such Worldsteel events as steelManagement and steelTalks.

Steeluniversity

An education project of the World Steel Association, an international association of iron and steel manufacturers. It includes free electronic learning materials and interactive simulations, covering the main aspects of cast iron and steel production.

Sustainability Champion

The World Steel Manufacturers Association Worldsteel has recognized NLMK Group as a leader in the field of sustainability (Sustainability Champion). The title is awarded annually to metallurgical companies that have proven their commitment to the principles of sustainable development and is the main industry award in this field.

Crystal Pyramid

In 2021, NLMK Corporate University won the Crystal Pyramid Awards Gran Prix as “Corporate University of the Year” The Crystal Pyramid Awards were founded by the Organisational Committee of the HR Directors Summit in cooperation with the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in 2011. Every year awards are handed out in recognition of achievements in managing companies and human capital.
